What is ERC4626?​

Tokenized vaults have been common in Defi like:

  • Yield aggregators
  • lending markets
  • staking derivatives

The protocols tokenize their vaults to enhance liquidity and flexibility.

Implement​

An ERC4626 is also an ERC20 Token.

ERC4626 is inherit ERC20, The share of Vault is tokenized. User can deposit specific ERC20 Tokens, and vault will mint share tokens for User.

Therefore, ERC4626 also support all function from ERC20,e.g:

  • balanceOf
  • transfer
  • Approve
  • allowance
